Can residents overseas apply for UK roles?

We are unable to employ anyone who does not have the legal right to live and work in the UK. In some exceptional circumstances we can sponsor migrant workers under Tier 2 of the points-based system. How can I keep track of my application?

After submitting your application for a job you should receive an email confirming that your application has been received. It may take up to 48 hours for you to receive this message. If, after 48 hours, you have still not received the email confirmation:

  • Check your junk email or spam email folder.
  • Check that the email address that you used for the application process was the correct one.

You will also be sent an email advising the outcome of your application but can also check online with your registered login.

I've been asked to complete psychometric tests. Where can I get extra practice?

The invitation email you received will give you details about the types of the tests we are asking you to complete. Please ensure you check with the type of test(s) you will be completing and read any accompanying information carefully. This information is designed to make sure you know what to expect before you take the tests. I need some assistance or need an adjustment during the recruitment process, what do I do?

When will I find out if I've been successful?

As soon as we can but depending on the role this may be very quickly or we may need to take a bit longer reaching our decision but we always let a candidate know if they've been successful or not.

Can I have feedback if I've been unsuccessful?

Unfortunately, due to the high volumes of applications we are unable to provide candidates with personal feedback.

The job I was unsuccessful for has been re-advertised can I re-apply for it?

For most roles within Avis Budget Group, you are welcome to re-apply for the same or a similar vacancy 12 months after you are notified of the outcome of your application. This is because we want to allow you time to develop the skills and qualities required for the role. You may apply for other vacancies at any time.
